The Vernon Hills Project represents a promising cobalt exploration endeavor located in central Tooele County, Utah. Situated approximately 5.4 kilometers east of Vernon and 84 kilometers south-southeast of Salt Lake City, this project encompasses ten lode claims, providing exclusive rights for mineral exploration and extraction on designated land.

Geology

The project area features hydrothermally altered cobalt deposits within the Bingham Mine Formation, part of the upper Pennsylvanian Paleozoic sedimentary units. These rocks formed during a period when sediment accumulated along a passive shoreline. Subsequently, rapid subsiding created a deep basin, setting the stage for valuable mineral formation.

Mineralization Hypotheses

The geological history of the Vernon Hills Project offers a captivating exploration into Earth's ancient past and the processes that led to valuable cobalt deposits. Blast Resources Inc. plans to undertake a comprehensive study, utilizing geological insights to uncover cobalt mineral resources within the Bingham rocks.
